On behalf of a private landlord Stirling Ackroyd have successfully let the ground floor retail unit along with the first and second floor commercial space at 1 Lower Clapton Road, E5. The second floor has been refurbished, creating several office suites. The total square foot is 2,700.

Terms were agreed with a European arts school after one viewing. They took the entire premises including the ground floor retail shop. A painful but ultimately successful application change of use followed, despite the planners initial resistance they granted the consent and the lease completed in April 2019. Both the client and tenant were extremely patient during this process and we would like to thank them both for their close co-operation throughout these negotiations.
